Martyrs

One of humanity's biggest flaws is that we're constantly waiting for a martyr to come along, wave their hands, say a few words and make things better. We don't realize many things; one of which is that we are the martyrs. We are the ones who have to stand up and do something. And though we might not be able to accomplish everything by simply 'waving our hands and saying a few words', it's a start.

But because of our ignorance, the martyr never comes.

Forever

Only in realizations do we finally know that only one thing is forever. And that is that forever is only a seven letter word, with three syllables. Nothing is absolutely definite, until it's absolutely definitely gone.
